English as Communication
After returning to Japan, I soon felt a strong sense of “wastefulness” that many Japanese people around me were not
confident with their English. In an age where communication is increasingly important,
I believe the ability to speak English is vital, especially for us Japanese.
My wish is for Japanese people to learn to speak English confidently in all walks of life, with both humour and elegance.
With this aim in mind, I established the Chelsea English School.
