For children starting out on their English adventure: using fun and games, we’ll start by learning the ABC and
building up confidence to speak in daily situation.
For older children, the focus is on listening and pronunciation and goal-directed learning. Students are encouraged to
advance toward the middle school curriculum by solidly learning the basics.

For Middle School Students
Mastering the middle school curriculum through careful revision, students will be trained for their high school
entrance exams in order to get the highest grade possible in English and secure their place in high school.
Additionally, they will be encouraged to aim for Eiken 3rd grade.

For High School and University Students
For study at university or to realize career aims, an altogether higher level of English is needed.
For university entrance, English ability is a very significant factor. In order to fully prepare for entrance to one’s
desired university, we offer an intensive learning programme.
Students are instructed according to their plans for the future with a detailed study plan in the areas of English
which will be most useful to them. Lessons are aimed at improving English communication, both written and spoken.
Additionally, advice can be offered to students thinking about going abroad for undergraduate or postgraduate studies.

This is a course aimed at people who, for example, have ‘been away’ from English for a long time and want to rebuild from the basics, or for people who want to start learning English casually, just for fun. Basic daily conversation is offered, from greetings and introductions, likes and dislikes, etc., so that students can feel comfortable in ordinary conversation situations.

For people who want to shine in the global business environment, an individual programme designed to equip you with the English you need to boost your career and realize your expectations. Students will learn interesting turns of phrase for a wide sphere of communication, and specific expressions commonly used in the business environment. Students will aim towards effective email writing, telephone conversation, introducing their company’s latest product and making attractive presentations.

Effective exam preparation is about more than knowing the language. We begin by establishing what kind of questions
can come up. Students are helped to prepare solidly in vocabulary, grammar, syntax and listening, bearing in mind the exam
specifications, and work through practice papers to find their own best method for tackling the reading and listening sections.
Other important techniques such as time management are also drilled, enabling students to do themselves justice when it comes to
the real exam.

First Stage Preparation
With the aim of passing the first stage of the qualification test, students are given comprehensive help in solving the tasks given, including: intensive learning of grammar and vocabulary, an emphasis on writing, and techniques of essay structuring and planning. Test taking strategies such as time management are also practiced.
Second Stage Preparation
Comprehensive preparation for the speaking component of the Eiken test. The instructor is an actual Eiken Examiner, and offers important advice from this point of view.

In 2006, the NGT/TOEFL iBT (Next Generation Testing, Internet-based Test) was launched. The Speaking Section, which is usually the most difficult for Japanese students, became a separate section and an overall assessment of four skills (Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking) was introduced. Students are offered comprehensive and effective guidance in achieving the scores they need in the CBT/IBT format to gain entrance to the foreign universities they are aiming for.

This is a course for people who want to find their place in the globalised society, to be able to speak English with confidence, elegance and humour on travels abroad or in international situations. From introductions to daily conversation and travel speech, students learn to express themselves about the many happenings in the world around them with elegance and style, learning choice phrases and enjoying themselves while learning.
